“Destination Basingstoke” Half Marathon for Thirst Relief

On Sunday 6th October, the Spotless Water team are taking part in the Basingstoke Half Marathon in order to raise money for a water well through the charity, Thirst Relief. Thirst Relief is a project run by the charity Penny Appeal,  who aim to “take small change and make a big difference  with it”

They provide poverty relief across Asia, the Middle East and Africa by offering water solutions, organising mass feedings, supporting orphan care and providing emergency food and medical aid. As a team, Spotless Water have chosen to support the Thirst Relief project by raising money throughout multiple charity events & challenges, starting with the Destination Basingstoke half marathon on Sunday 6th October. The first goal is to raise enough money to get a water well built in either Pakistan, Nepal, India or Bangladesh.
