Published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, this statement outlines the steps taken by Spotless Water to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking throughout our business and supply chains.
As part of our culture of good governance for good business, at Spotless Water we operate to a set of core values around professionalism, integrity, transparency and teamwork, which reflect our relationships with our principal stakeholder groups: customers, manufacturers, shareholders, suppliers and team members. We adopt a behavioural value for all our business relationships, reflecting our attitude to the exploitation of individuals in any form, and more particularly the offences under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We are committed to opposing modern slavery in all its forms and preventing it by whatever means we can. We demand the same attitude of all who work for us and expect it of all with whom we have business dealings.
All team members have an obligation to familiarise themselves with our procedures to help in the identification and prevention of modern slavery and to conduct business in a manner such that the opportunity for and incidence of modern slavery is prevented.
Our attitude to modern slavery is zero tolerance.
Spotless Water continues to commit to providing customers with goods that have been produced in decent and safe working conditions, lawfully, through fair and honest dealings.
Spotless Water has a Code of Conduct and an EthicalSupplier Policy. We require all of our own staff and suppliers to review and agree to our Code of Conduct. This Code applies to the supplierand any other individual involved in supplying goods to our company. Our Code is designed to be fair, achievable, easy to check and to promote the ongoing development.
We have a long standing relationship with the large majority of our supply base. Our Senior Management and Directors continue to visit our main suppliers regularly to maintain and grow these relationships. Any new supplier proposed to us must complete the supplier set up process before any work takes place. This process ensures we have the appropriate visibility of the sites being used and commitment from the agent and site representatives to our Code of Conduct and ethical policies.
For all of our sites and offices, approved third party social audits and our own in-house audits are completed and qualified, along with any corrective action progress reports for any non-compliances found. These third party factory audits are undertaken against Spotless Water’sethical codes and standards and consist of site tours, document reviews and worker interviews. Our works with the suppliers and sitesto ensure any non-compliance is resolved in a timely manner relative to the associated risk of the matters of concern.
Spotless Water are committed to continuing to address and minimise the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chain. We will continue to review our policies and processes throughout the next financial year. Our Senior Management and Directors will continue to visit our main suppliers and to further our working relationship and involvement within our supply base. We will continue to prioritise visits to sites based on higher risk areas and are committed to increasing the transparency within our supply chain year upon year.
